sierra

A modern website and CMS for a recycling and demolition company with a story to tell

00

The build-out of the Sierra website using Framer focused on creating an optimized, high-performance site with engaging features. Framer’s flexible platform allowed for seamless integration of the design, with interactive elements like hover effects and smooth transitions that kept users engaged and encouraged exploration. These features contributed to a dynamic and visually appealing user experience, ensuring visitors remained interested and interacted with the content.

Framer’s CMS capabilities were fully utilized to allow for easy content management and updates while maintaining fast load times and smooth performance. The site was made fully responsive, adjusting fluidly across various devices and screen sizes. This mobile-first approach ensured a consistent, high-quality experience for users, regardless of the device they used. These optimizations ensured the site delivered both speed and efficiency without sacrificing the user experience.

Additionally, Framer’s intuitive interface enabled the fine-tuning of animations and interactivity, maintaining a visually rich site without slowing down performance. Engaging features like background videos and scrolling effects were incorporated, adding depth and modern appeal. By balancing performance and engagement, the site successfully met the design requirements and provided an immersive, responsive experience that keeps users engaged with the brand.

problem

The website for Sierra was built on an obsolete platform, making it difficult to update and integrate modern features. The site lacked engaging elements like interactive elements, videos, and animations, which are essential for capturing and maintaining visitors' attention. The design was static and unappealing, failing to create an immersive experience for users. As a result, the website was unable to effectively engage visitors or showcase the company’s services in a compelling way.

solution

With James Engerbretson’s fresh design and by building it out in Framer, we addressed the key issues that plagued the old site. James crafted a modern, visually engaging design that included interactive elements, dynamic content, and a clean, intuitive layout that drew users in and kept them engaged. I then built the site on a more flexible, up-to-date platform, making it possible to achieve an optimized build of the new design. Together, we created a site that not only showcased Sierra's services effectively but also provided an engaging, seamless experience for visitors, allowing the company to better connect with its audience.
